We are looking for an experienced Database Developer who can design, develop, optimize, and maintain database systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL development, data modeling, performance tuning, and ensuring database reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain database structures such as tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Write complex SQL queries to support application features and reporting needs.
  • Perform query optimization and database performance tuning.
  • Work closely with developers to integrate database components with applications.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, backup, and security standards.
  • Troubleshoot database-related performance issues and resolve bugs efficiently.
  • Participate in database version control and deployment activities.
  • Create and maintain database documentation.
  • Support ETL processes and data migration activities when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience as a Database Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQL Server / Oracle — as per requirement).
  • Good understanding of database design, normalization, indexes, functions, and triggers.
  • Experience with performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
  • Familiar with data security, backup & recovery concepts.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
