We're looking for a Content Developer to join our Global Support Engineering team at Elastic. In this brand-new role, you'll work side by side with the Training Manager and subject matter experts (SMEs) to transform technical expertise into engaging, effective learning content for our global support engineers.

Your work will directly shape how our support organization learns, grows, and delivers exceptional customer experiences. From designing eLearning courses and videos to building labs and interactive modules, you'll be the creative force that brings training content to life in our enablement platform, Seismic.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical knowledge with instructional design to elevate education across our global support team.

• Collaborate with the Training Manager and SMEs to design and develop high-quality learning content (eLearning, videos, workshops, labs, and instructor-led materials).
  
  
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging learning materials tailored to support engineers.
  
  
• Use Content builders like LEAi or similar tools to build high quality technical content
  
  
• Build interactive labs, scripts, and technical exercises that reinforce practical skills with the Elastic Stack.
  
  
• Develop and maintain on-demand learning content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with the latest product features.
  
  
• Apply instructional design best practices to optimize engagement, retention, and learner outcomes.
  
  
• Manage and publish content within Seismic, ensuring accessibility and usability for a global audience.
  
  
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Support, Education, Product, and Engineering) to gather insights and continuously improve training assets.
  
  

• 2+ years of experience developing technical learning content (eLearning, labs, video, or related formats).
  
  
• Strong instructional design skills with a portfolio of engaging technical content.
  
  
• BS degree (or equivalent experience) in Instructional Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  
  
• Ability to understand and explain technical topics (programming, databases, distributed systems, or search technologies).
  
  
• Experience with enablement platforms such as Seismic (or similar) and with content developing tools like LEAi.
  
  
• Familiarity with authoring tools and multimedia creation software (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia, Captivate, or comparable tools).
  
  
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for technical learners.
  
  
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively in a distributed, global environment.
  
  
• Curiosity and excitement to dive deeper into the Elastic Stack and support ecosystem.
