Embedded Systems Developer

About Us:

We are an innovative aerospace & drone tech company building next-generation UAV solutions for defense, industrial, and commercial applications. We are seeking a passionate Embedded Systems Developer with expertise in hardware, firmware, and drone systems to join our growing R&D team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded systems for flight controllers and UAV subsystems.
  • Work on PCB design, schematic development, and component selection for drone electronics.
  • Write and optimize embedded firmware for microcontrollers and SoCs.
  • Implement and troubleshoot communication protocols such as CAN Bus, SPI, UART, USB and I2C.
  • Develop and integrate the MAVLink protocol to enable seamless communication between drone flight controllers, ground control stations, and onboard UAV subsystems.
  • Develop and test electronic circuits including power management and sensor integration.
  • Collaborate with avionics and mechanical teams for system integration.
  • Conduct system testing, debugging, and validation using lab equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and reliability requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in
    Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering
    (or equivalent).
  • Strong experience in
    embedded programming (C/C++), firmware development, and microcontroller-based systems
    .
  • Hands-on experience with STM32 and ESP32 microcontrollers.
  • Hands-on knowledge of
    PCB design tools
    (Altium, KiCAD, OrCAD, etc.).
  • Experience in
    circuit design, schematic capture, and component selection
    .
  • Familiarity with
    drone systems, flight controllers, and UAV subsystems
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    communication protocols
    : CAN Bus, SPI, UART, USB, I2C,
    MAVLink
    .
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced R&D environment.

We Value:

  • Experience with
    PX4 or Ardupilot
    frameworks.
  • Knowledge of
    sensor fusion, IMUs, GPS modules, and wireless communication (LoRa, RF, etc.)
    .
  • Exposure to
    RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr) or Embedded Linux
    .
  • Prior experience in
    UAV industry
    .
