About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Solution Associate Presales to join our technical team. This individual will focus on delivering high-impact product demonstrations and technical presentations for SolidWorks CAD & SolidWorks Electrical to prospective and existing clients. This role is ideal for candidates with an electrical engineering background who can bridge mechanical and electrical design, helping customers realize the value of a unified design environment

Role & responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical product demonstrations and presentations for SolidWorks CAD & SolidWorks Electrical, tailored to customers specific electrical design and manufacturing needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify customer pain points and propose tailored solutions using the SolidWorks suite of tools
  • Engage with prospects and customers to understand their electrical product development challenges and map them to our solution capabilities.
  • Develop and deliver customer-specific CAD & Electrical content, including use-case presentations and proof-of-concept models, to effectively communicate technical value.
  • Provide Electrical training and workshops ensuring adoption and proficiency in the product suite.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and compliance relevant to electrical design and integrate these insights into customer engagements.
  • Participate in industry events, webinars, and trade shows to demonstrate product capabilities and generate technical leads.
  • Maintain relationships with key customers and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling related electrical and CAD solutions.
  • Collaborate with Dassault Systmes and internal teams to report on presales activities, competitor insights, and customer feedback.

Preferred candidate profile:

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or related discipline is mandatory.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a Design, Presales, technical consulting, or application engineering role within the CAD/CAE industry.
  • Knowledge about any 3D CAD & Electrical Softwares is Mandatory
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD and SolidWorks Electrical is added Advantage.
  • Working knowledge of electrical schematics, panel layouts, harnessing, control systems, and manufacturing workflows.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Good presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer engagements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, On-site demos, and industry events.
