Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified MEP Engineer with strong expertise in plumbing and electrical systems to join our growing design and execution team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in preparing plumbing layouts, material estimations, and BOQs, along with a sound understanding of MEP coordination in architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed plumbing and electrical layouts for residential, commercial, and institutional projects.
  • Perform estimation and cost analysis for plumbing and drainage systems.
  • Prepare BOQ, material take-offs, and rate analysis for all MEP works related to plumbing.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural, and electrical teams for service integration and clash resolution.
  • Review and validate shop drawings and as-built drawings.
  • Conduct site visits to verify plumbing layout execution and ensure design compliance.
  • Prepare technical documentation, vendor coordination, and procurement support.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in MEP design with a focus on plumbing systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD / Revit MEP / Excel for estimation and drafting.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and plumbing design principles.
  • Experience preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and technical reports.
  • Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on interior fit-out or commercial building projects.
  • Familiarity with HVAC and electrical coordination will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of value engineering and cost optimization techniques.
