Role Overview:

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with 1–2.5 years of experience to handle procurement and vendor coordination for our fast-expanding operations.

This role involves sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase documentation, and ensuring smooth supply chain operations to meet production demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and manage vendors and suppliers for raw materials and packaging.
  • Collect quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize purchase terms.
  • Prepare purchase orders (POs) and track order progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with stores, production, and accounts teams for smooth operations.
  • Maintain purchase records, vendor data, and pricing history accurately.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in material planning.
  • Follow up with suppliers for deliveries, invoices, and payment clarifications.
  • Support audits and adhere to company procurement procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–2.5 years of experience in purchase, procurement, or supply chain roles (preferably in manufacturing/FMCG).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Email communication.
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Team player with problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be available for on-site work in Coimbatore.
