Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and goal-oriented individual with a strong background in offer engineering. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in interpreting technical specifications, designing mechanical and structural solutions, and preparing competitive offers that align with customer requirements and business goals. We're looking for someone with a can-do attitude, ready to take ownership and drive results.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Interpretation & Design

• Analyze technical specifications to define the scope of work.
• Design suitable products/components based on requirements.
• Proficiently read and interpret mechanical equipment and structural drawings.

Offer Engineering & Solution Development

• Execute offer engineering tasks using established procedures.
• Create equipment layouts and perform mechanical/structural calculations.
• Develop sales solutions grounded in engineering designs.

Pricing & Estimation

• Apply estimation principles to determine pricing for non-standard components.
• Understand pricing structures beyond standard pricelists.

Stakeholder Communication

• Present and explain engineered solutions to stakeholders.
• Address and clarify technical queries effectively.

Quality Assurance

• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in design and estimation.
• Implement corrective actions to ensure quality standards are met.

Compliance & Standards

• Maintain awareness of ISO Environmental Management) and ISO Occupational Health & Safety).

The role is based in our office in SP Infocity, Hadapsar, Pune – but it goes without saying that the remote & hybrid working is a part of our modern ways of working.

To achieve these goals, required qualification and skill set are:

• Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with cranes and material handling equipment (preferred but not mandatory).
• Knowledge of crane standards such as FEM and EN.
• Proficiency in 2D CAD tools (AutoCAD) and 3D modeling tools (NX).
• Communication and Approach
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to clearly explain technical concepts and solutions.
• A proactive, solution-oriented attitude.
• Ability to innovate and implement new ways of working.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and work effectively in teams.

Qualifications

Qualification: B. Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
