Job Purpose: To design and develop innovative product models, detailed engineering drawings, and production auxiliaries that support the Product Development Process (PDP). This role ensures high-quality design output, seamless collaboration with global teams, and compliance with industry standards to drive efficient and effective product realization.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Creating detailed engineering models and drawings using CAD/CAE tools (UG NX 12).
• Designing new products, prototypes, and flexible product solutions.
• Developing and updating Insert & Blank Drawings, Norm drawings, Directives, and Tracings.
• Managing design documentation across global platforms such as ToolDoc, CAPP, SAP, and Teamcenter.
• Collaborating with PDP project managers to support manufacturing analysis and MS8/DP milestones.
• Assisting production teams with PER programs, feasibility studies, and skeleton creation.
• Updating BOMs and integrating new/existing articles into global systems like CAPP, YAPP, CAPMAN, and TAP.
• Designing and developing production auxiliaries including fixtures, gauges, trays, carriers, and ER-related components.
• Supporting design and manufacturing automation initiatives in partnership with the global design team.
• Contributing to press tool design and supporting global design efforts throughout PDP stages.
• Preparing and maintaining design review reports and technical documentation with version control.
• Ensuring all designs comply with industry safety standards and engineering guidelines.

Your Profile: We're looking for someone with the following qualifications and skills: 

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in engineering preferably Mechanical
• 4-8 years of experience in product development in engineering /manufacturing industry.
• Experience in Design and Product Development
• Press Tool design, Design automation, UG NX 12, Teamcenter, SAP, Simulation Softwares

Technical & Behavioural Competence:

• Proficient in UniGraphics NX 12.0 and CAD/CAM tools for precision modeling and design.
• Experienced in new product development, prototyping, and flexible design solutions.
• Strong grasp of press tool design and automation techniques.
• Skilled in applying GD&T standards and using simulation tools for design validation.
• Familiar with manufacturing processes, materials, and feasibility analysis.
• Capable of managing technical documentation and design reviews with version control.
• Proactive, self-driven, and accountable with a collaborative global mindset.
• Adaptable and open to change, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
