Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement in compliance with Indian Accounting Standard (IND AS)
  • Consolidation of accounts for group companies with its subsidiaries.
  • Coordinate with statutory auditors and internal auditors and manage timely closure of audit requirements.
  • Maintain and review books of accounts, trial balance and other financial records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations and other reporting requirements applicable to listed entities.

Taxation (Direct)

  • Handle direct tax compliance including TDS, filing of returns, advance tax computation.
  • Coordinate with tax consultants and liaison with government authorities for tax assessments / other tax matters.

MIS & Budgeting:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly MIS reports and variance analysis.
  • Support in preparation of annual budgeting, forecasting and cost control measure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including projects, procurement and legal for financial due diligence.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Chartered Accountant with 3-4 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Preferably from construction/infrastructure industry.
  • Prior experience in a listed company environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding IND AS and tax laws.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

Statutory Audit

  • Lead and conduct statutory audits of entities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory, accounting, and audit standards.
  • Ensure audit documentation is complete, accurate, and filed in line with professional standards and firm / organizational policies.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory audit processes, audit documentation, internal control testing, risk assessment.
  • Sound understanding of accounting standards (IFRS / Ind AS / local GAAP).Role & responsibilities
