AutoCAD Designer /Draughtmen (Lighting & Home Automation)

Location: Mumbai - Andheri west

Experience: 3–5 years

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Job Summary

Sattva Automation is looking for a skilled AutoCAD Designer to prepare lighting layouts, home automation drawings, wiring diagrams, BOQs, and estimation sheets for premium residential and commercial projects. The role involves close coordination with architects, designers, project managers and site teams.

Roles & Responsibilities1. Lighting Design & Drafting

  • Prepare lighting layout plans, false ceiling designs, and fixture positioning drawings
  • Create LUX level drawings and basic lighting BOQs
  • Ensure design accuracy based on site measurements and architect plans

2. Home Automation & Electrical Drawings

  • Draft wiring diagrams, load schedules, and panel schematics
  • Prepare automation layouts (DALI, KNX, Bluetooth Mesh, Casambi, etc.)
  • Design device location plans (motion sensors, keypads, controllers, hubs, speakers, CCTV, Wi-Fi points)

3. Estimation

  • Take quantity measurements from architectural drawings
  • Prepare BOQs for lighting, automation, and electrical requirements
  • Support design/sales team with estimations for enquiries

4. Coordination & Documentation

  • Revise drawings based on site conditions or client feedback
  • Prepare As-Built drawings and maintain documentation
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, and project managers
  • Maintain drawing standards, legends, symbols, and layered structure

5. Quality & Timelines

  • Ensure high accuracy in all drawings
  • Deliver drawings and BOQs within project deadlines

Requirements

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) is mandatory
  • Basic understanding of electrical and lighting layouts
  • Familiarity with home automation drawings is an advantage
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural GFC drawings
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment

Qualifications

  • Diploma / BE in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Interior Design, or related field
  • AutoCAD certification preferred but not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
