JOB DESCRIPTION
- Objectives: Design process, in order to ensure all customers specified requirements are achieved.

The Architecture designing & drafting supervisor is responsible for the coordination of design activities, preparation and approval of Preliminary and Final Design specifications, together with the co ordination of design review activities throughout the project design cycle

Responsible for ensuring that all customer design requirements are clearly identified, recorded, and communicated to all concerned personnel through the factory manager

Responsible for a site survey and will be carried with production team at each project location of the joinery items to ensure the final measurement before starting the shop drawing and setting out.

Responsible for establishing the project design and shop drawing drafting plan, identifying the design activity to be performed, and time scales for completions, update design plan as design evolves.

Preparing design specifications, details functional and performance requirements including acceptance criteria, verify and approve all design specification before release to production.

Ensure that samples are checked against defined design specifications before making the drawings.

Submitting the approved design specification to the client for approval, ensure that documented evidence of client approval is obtained. This evident may include receipt of client contract or order.

All the changes design is to be documented and processed along with the work orders.

All the design documents and evidence of verifications and validations performed to be retained in the applicable project file.

Preparing and updating the production rout map for individual projects.

Ensure that Design Reviews include all personnel affected by the design, depending on the design stage reached with the Client, factory manager, marketing personal, quantity surveyor and production team.
