Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Server & Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in AWS setup, deployment, and server management, combined with solid experience in web or mobile application development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with / or PHP Laravel, along with proficiency in database administration (MySQL). The role involves managing and optimizing server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of hosted applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage AWS server setup, deployment, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Handle domain and hosting configurations across platforms like AWS, GoDaddy, etc.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud-based application deployments.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain server performance and uptime.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration between applications and server environments.
  • Manage database administration, backup, and recovery for MySQL, and optionally MongoDB / PostgreSQL.
  • Ensure proper security, scalability, and cost optimization of cloud resources.
  • Participate in application architecture design and advise on best practices for hosting and infrastructure.Technical Skills Required:

Other Skills:

  • Experience in web or mobile development (prior hands-on coding background).
  • Strong understanding of network configurations, DNS, SSL, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Docker, Jenkins, etc.) is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of total experience, with at least 2+ years focused on AWS and server management.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Profile:

  • A full-stack developer turned Server & Cloud Specialist, passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and system reliability, with a solid foundation in web technologies and backend systems.
