Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure resource to manage our cloud strategy, operations, and optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 6–7 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including strong expertise in Kubernetes and Databricks and cost management. This role demands a strategic thinker with deep technical knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to drive efficiency across cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture & Strategy

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient Azure infrastructure solutions.
• Define and enforce cloud architecture standards and best practices.
• Evaluate and integrate new Azure services, including Kubernetes (AKS) and Databricks, to support business needs.

Operations & Optimization

• Manage day-to-day operations of Azure infrastructure, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement automation for provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Optimize workloads using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

Cost Management & Governance

• Develop and execute cost optimization strategies across Azure services.
• Monitor cloud spend using Azure Cost Management and generate actionable insights.
• Implement governance policies to control resource usage and enforce budget limits.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure infrastructure complies with internal security policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Manage identity and access controls using Azure AD and RBAC.
• Conduct regular security audits and implement remediation plans.

Kubernetes & Databricks Management

• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Integrate and optimize data workflows using Azure Databricks for analytics and machine learning.
• Collaborate with data engineering and DevOps teams to streamline pipelines and deployments.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and support staff.
• Collaborate with application, DevOps, and business teams to support cloud-native and hybrid deployments.
• Act as a key point of contact for cloud-related initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6–7 years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
• Strong understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Proven expertise in Azure cost management, budgeting, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and Azure Databricks.
• Proficiency in Azure networking, storage, compute, and security services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant domain knowledge in DNS, Cloud Storage, Backup, Commvault Virtual Machine, Azure Policies etc.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500, or FinOps Practitioner are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and cloud governance frameworks.
