Power BI Reporting & Data Analyst, HIH Lead Analyst

Position Summary:

The Power BI Developer & Data Analyst will be responsible for developing and deploying solutions using BI. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs, creating data models, and developing insightful and interactive reports and dashboards. This individual will work with users, technology partners, other project team members, and workstream teams.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

The Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze data requirements.
• Create data models and data transformations using Power BI Tools, Oracle BI Publisher Oracle autonomous warehouse and Spreadsheet server.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reports and dashboards.
• Optimize Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability and performance.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI.
• Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Power BI.
• Stay updated with Oracle Tools and Virtual Trader Application, which is used to record Intercompany activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI and Power Query.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure

Experience Required:

Qualified candidates will typically have 5 - 8 years of finance or accounting experience with a focus on security and management of control environments. Successful candidates will be high energy, self-starters with a focus on quality output and project delivery success. Successful candidates will have project experience in Oracle Cloud ERP & EDM technologies.

Experience Desired:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
• Demonstrated experience establishing and delivering complex projects/initiatives within agreed upon parameters while achieving the benefits and/or value-added results.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodology.
