Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute buying strategies for assigned categories to achieve sales, margin, and inventory targets.
  • Identify and source new suppliers, negotiate pricing, and establish long-term vendor relationships.
  • Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to identify trends, new fabrics, and consumer preferences.
  • Plan and manage seasonal assortments—from product selection to pricing and stock allocation.
  • Coordinate with design, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive product stories and launches.
  • Conduct buying visits and supplier meetings to review collections and assess product quality.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and adjust buying plans accordingly.
  • Ensure timely product shoot samples and support the e-commerce and retail teams with product-related information.
  • Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to track product deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate buying records, purchase orders, and budgets.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of fashion retail, trends, and consumer behavior (preferably ethnic wear).
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, MIS reporting, and inventory analysis.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills across departments.
  • Ability to handle multiple categories or sub-brands simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500, ₹1,000,000.00 per year
