Job Description: Magento Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Magento UI/UX Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Magento UI/UX Developer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our Magento-based e-commerce websites. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in both front-end development and user experience design, with a focus on delivering a seamless and intuitive online shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

Front-End Development:

• Develop and implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces for Magento-based e-commerce websites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including back-end developers and designers, to ensure the seamless integration of UI components.
• Optimize websites for performance, ensuring fast page load times and a smooth user experience across devices.

UI/UX Design:

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Design and implement user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience and drive conversion rates.
• Conduct user research and gather feedback to continuously improve and iterate on designs.

Magento Theme Development:

• Customize and extend Magento themes to meet specific project requirements.
• Ensure compatibility and responsiveness across various browsers and devices.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in branding and messaging across the website.

Testing and Optimization:

• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to make data-driven improvements.
• Implement A/B testing to optimize user interactions and conversion rates.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Magento front-end development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with Magento theming and customization.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

UI/UX Design Skills:

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.

Communication:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to present and explain design decisions to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

E-commerce Experience:

• Previous experience working on e-commerce websites, particularly those built on the Magento platform, is highly desirable.

Problem-Solving:

• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering solutions that balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (computer science, web development, design, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Magento UI/UX Developer with a portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
