Position Title: Senior Engineer – Sales & Marketing (Front Sales)

Location: Kothrud,Pune

Experience: 3 to 5 years

Industry: Industrial Equipment / Thermal & Mechanical Equipment Manufacturing Job Overview: We are hiring a Senior Engineer – Sales & Marketing (Front Sales) for our client based in Pune. The ideal candidate should have strong technical sales experience in industrial equipment, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage B2B client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and manage sales enquiries from OEMs, EPCs, end users, and consultants
  • Conduct client meetings to understand technical applications and offer appropriate valve solutions
  • Collaborate with application engineering team for accurate proposal submissions
  • Lead price negotiations and handle customer objections while maintaining profitability
  • Track and manage enquiry-to-order conversion pipeline
  • Build long-term relationships with key accounts to drive repeat business
  • Conduct site visits and technical discussions as needed
  • Provide competitive intelligence and feedback to the management team

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Instrumentation Engineering (MBA preferred)
  • Diploma holders can apply with 2–3 years of additional relevant experience
  • Candidates from the industrial equipment sector (valves, pumps, turbines, instrumentation, etc.) preferred
  • Strong ownership mindset, self-motivated, and ready to travel
  • Confident in handling commercial discussions and sales closure
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and virtual meeting platforms is an advantage
