Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and PL/SQL programming.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of PL/SQL code.
  • Create, modify, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, views and triggers.
  • Good knowledge of Utilize cursors for row-by-row data processing when necessary.
  • Implement robust exception handling in PL/SQL programs.
  • Perform code reviews and test PL/SQL code to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database performance and data integrity.
  • Implement database changes, enhancements, and new functionalities.
  • Create and maintain documentation for database and development processes.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in database (Oracle) development.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing databases for large-scale migration projects.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL or other database query languages.
  • Expertise in database design, normalization, indexing, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with ETL processes, and migration tools.

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
