Job Summary:

Responsible for managing all construction materials, tools, and equipment at the project site. Ensures timely receipt, proper storage, accurate issue, and record-keeping of all items to support smooth site execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive materials at site and verify quantity and quality as per delivery challan and purchase order.
  • Maintain daily record of material receipts and issues in registers or Excel sheets.
  • Ensure proper stacking and safe storage of materials like cement, steel, pipes, aggregates, fittings, etc.
  • Issue materials only against approved requisition slips from site engineers.
  • Keep track of returnable items (tools, shuttering plates, machinery parts, etc.).
  • Monitor stock levels regularly and inform for timely replenishment.
  • Maintain records of consumption and balance stock on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Prevent material wastage and unauthorized use.
  • Conduct physical stock verification periodically and report discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with the Purchase, Accounts, and HR departments for documentation and material updates.
  • Ensure the store area is neat, secure, and organized.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum qualification: 12th / ITI / Diploma in Civil or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience handling site materials and store operations.
  • Knowledge of construction materials and their handling.
  • Basic computer knowledge (Excel, emails, and store records).
  • Strong record-keeping and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
