Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our wholesale vegetable business at G8 Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, proven experience in managing financial operations, and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance in all accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the entire accounting function of the wholesale business.
  • Prepare, maintain, and reconcile financial statements, ledgers, and reports.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and inventory-related financials.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders as required.
  • Provide financial insights and reports to management for decision-making.
  • Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.
  • Travel to other company branches if required for work-related assignments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting/finance.
  • Qualification: Semi-qualified CA, ACCA, or experienced candidates with strong accounting expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and team management abilities.
  • Flexibility to travel to other branches as per business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
