Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Kochi Office (Supporting F9 Infotech Operations)

Working Hours: 10 AM - 7:30 PM

Working Days- 6 days - Mon to Fri - WFO - Saturdays WFH.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Kochi and play a key role in managing our UAE operations' financial processes.

Role Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting management with insights for decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent command over English, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage cross-border financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Accounting & Reporting
  • Manage and maintain accounts, ensuring timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decisions.
  • Compliance & Controls
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles, company policies, and statutory regulations.
  • Coordinate with auditors (internal & external) and support audit requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with UAE and India financial reporting standards.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Manage vendor invoices, payments, reconciliations, and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Support accounts receivable and sales teams with billing, collections, and reconciliation of customer accounts.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up to ensure timely collections.
  • Financial Operations & Analysis
  • Monitor cash flow and support treasury functions.
  • Analyze accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, expenses, and other financial documents.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's/Professional qualification like CA/CPA/ACCA preferred but not mandatory).
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience (any industry).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, reporting, analysis).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and support cross-border teams.
  • Exposure to accounting software/ERP systems is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40, ₹50,000.00 per month
