Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to analyze historical and current TV viewership data with the objective of deriving actionable insights. This role is key to identifying trends, interpreting audience behavior, and delivering data-driven narratives through comprehensive reports and dashboards

Role & responsibilities :

  • Analyze weekly viewership data across genres, channels, and regions to provide accurate and actionable insights
  • Update and maintain weekly presentations with detailed performance analysis
  • Preparing and presenting research decks to senior stakeholders
  • Interpret audience behavior and TV consumption patterns by understanding both internal (programming, content track, anchors, storylines) and external (market trends, non-TV factors) influences
  • Respond to internal and external queries with data-backed insights
  • Create and deliver reports, dashboards, and research decks for management and internal stakeholders
  • Use tools like YUMI (mandatory for candidates with a TV background), MS Excel (mandatory), and PowerPoint to process data and visualize insights
  • Ensure continuous process improvement and standardization in data analysis and reporting
  • Lead or contribute to special research and analytics projects beyond regular deliverables

Preferred candidate profile:

  • Mandatory Tools: MS Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, YUMI (for candidates from TV analytics background)
  • Familiarity with BARC data and TV ratings interpretation (if applicable)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to synthesize large datasets into compelling insights
  • Experience in preparing and presenting research decks to senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
