Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Trainee at Insignia Shipping Services located in Mumbai. The Trainee will assist in daily logistics operations, including tracking shipments, handling documentation, and coordinating with various stakeholders. The role involves supporting the Port Agency, Freight Forwarding, and Customs Clearance processes, learning Marine Engineering basics, and providing assistance in ship supply tasks. The Trainee will also participate in customer-focused activities, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency under the guidance of experienced team members.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of Defence Logistics, Port Agency, and Freight Forwarding
  • Skills in documentation, tracking shipments, and coordinating with stakeholders
  • Willingness to learn Marine Engineering basics and provide assistance in ship supply tasks
  • Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and in demanding environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is a plus
