Role Description

We are offering a 3-month remote internship/volunteer opportunity for a Video Editor. The selected candidate will support the creation of digital content by handling video editing, color grading, transitions, and motion graphics. The role involves working closely with Devika Venu to produce polished, story-driven content for platforms such as Instagram and YouTube. This position provides valuable industry exposure and hands-on learning in the field of content creation.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in video editing and basic video production
  • Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut
  • Understanding of video color grading, transitions, and motion graphics
  • Strong creativity, attention to detail, and visual storytelling skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and incorporate feedback
  • Passion for content creation and digital media

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the internship, the candidate will:

  • Gain practical experience in editing social media content, including reels and short-form videos
  • Understand the end-to-end process of content creation, from raw footage to final output
  • Improve skills in color grading, transitions, and visual storytelling techniques
  • Learn how to adapt editing styles to align with brand identity and platform requirements
  • Develop the ability to work collaboratively and incorporate constructive feedback effectively
