Role Overview:

You will design, build, and maintain the backend that supports authentication, real-time updates, and third-party integrations, while ensuring performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for web (React) and mobile (Flutter) apps.
  • Develop and maintain secure data models for users.
  • Handle authentication & role-based access control (Admin, Provider, End-user).
  • Build real-time features (e.g., chat, live tracking) using WebSockets or Firebase.
  • Implement backend logic for multiple core features.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
  • Deploy on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) and set up CI/CD pipelines.
  • Create and maintain API documentation (Postman, Swagger).

Skills We're Looking For

  • Proficiency in with (basic NestJS is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design.
  • Experience with MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of Authentication (JWT, OAuth).
  • Integration with third-party services (SMS, Email, Maps, Payments).
  • Experience in API testing & documentation (Postman, Swagger).
  • Cloud hosting experience (AWS EC2/S3, Firebase, GCP).
  • Git for version control and team collaboration.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Socket.IO or Firebase for real-time features.
  • Redis for caching/queuing.
  • Payment gateway integration (Razorpay, Stripe).
  • Docker for containerization.
  • CI/CD setup for staging & production.
  • Knowledge of mobile backend support best practices (e.g., paginated APIs, optimized payloads).
