Job Description:

Job title:- F & B Associate

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Guest Service:

  2. Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements.

  3. Present menus and take food and beverage orders accurately.

  4. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that orders are delivered as requested.

  5. Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.

  6. Food & Beverage Handling:

  7. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and special offerings.

  8. Upsell food and beverage items by making recommendations based on guest preferences.

  9. Ensure that all food and beverages are served in compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

  10. Assist with the preparation and setup of dining areas, including table settings and buffet arrangements.

  11. Operational Support:

  12. Assist in the daily operations of the F&B department, including inventory management and stock replenishment.

  13. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and storage spaces.

  14. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation.

  15. Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system as needed.

  16. Team Collaboration:

  17. Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

  18. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies and procedures.

  19. Assist in special events, banquets, and other F&B-related activities as required.

Qualification:-

· Hotel Management Degree or equivalent

· Previous experience in food and beverage service of 1-3 years in a 5 star hotel such Taj, Oberoi, Marriott, ITC etc.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
