Role: Chartered Accountant – Taxation & Compliance

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Chartered Accountant with 2–3 years of experience in taxation, statutory compliance, and financial operations. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate filings, timely compliance across entities, and supporting financial hygiene as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

Taxation & Filings

  • Handle
    GST
    : monthly/quarterly returns, reconciliations, audits, and ensuring input credit accuracy.
  • Manage
    TDS
    deductions, monthly payments, and quarterly filings.
  • Prepare and assist with
    corporate income tax
    computations and annual returns.
  • Liaise with external consultants for tax assessments, notices, and clarifications.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with MCA filings, board resolutions, ROC requirements, and statutory registers.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
  • Maintain updated compliance calendars and trackers across Aerem group entities.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (Legal, HR, Operations) to ensure all process-linked compliances are maintained.

Financial Operations

  • Manage day-to-day accounting entries and GL hygiene.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and MIS preparation.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for tax-related queries and documentation.
  • Support process improvements to strengthen governance & financial controls.

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant with
    2–3 years of post-qualification experience
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    GST
    ,
    TDS
    , and corporate taxation.
  • Experience with compliance (ROC/MCA) preferred.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Proficiency in Tally/Zoho/ERP tools (Zoho experience is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ownership mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
