Overview The Java Camunda Lead plays a pivotal role in driving the development and deployment of business process automation solutions within the organization. As a leader in the development team, the Java Camunda Lead is responsible for overseeing the architecture, design, and implementation of process-driven applications that meet both business and technical requirements. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, quality assurance, and DevOps, is crucial to ensure seamless integration and execution of process-related projects. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience with Java and Camunda, showcasing their ability to deliver high-quality software solutions while driving best practices in software development and team collaboration. This role is not only about coding but also about mentoring and guiding junior developers, making it a blend of technical and leadership responsibilities that establishes the foundation for successful process automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of applications using Camunda BPM.
  • Architect scalable solutions that integrate with existing enterprise applications.
  • Manage the full software development life cycle, from requirement analysis to deployment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine business process requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
  • Review and enhance code quality through thorough code reviews and testing.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing Camunda workflows for performance improvements.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for process automation.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvements.
  • Mentor junior developers on best practices and coding standards.
  • Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards throughout development.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends in process automation and BPM.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to disseminate best practices.
  • Document workflows, processes, and technical specifications effectively.
  • Coordinate with DevOps for deployment strategies and automation.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Camunda BPM.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in Spring Framework and related technologies.
  • Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Adept at working in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Certifications in Java or BPM tools are advantageous.
