Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong data analysis and data mapping expertise to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL, strong knowledge of relational data models, and proficiency in BI tools like Power BI and/or Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements.
  • Perform data mapping between source and target systems across various projects.
  • Write complex SQL queries to validate, transform, and analyze large datasets.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications for BI reports and dashboards.
  • Create and maintain reports/dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau.
  • Support data integration efforts and ensure data consistency across systems.
  • Identify gaps, trends, and data quality issues to support decision-making.
  • Document functional specifications, process flows, and data mappings clearly.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 48 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in SQL (joins, aggregations, subqueries, CTEs, etc.).
  • Solid experience in data mapping, data lineage, and understanding of relational databases.
  • Proficient in Power BI and/or Tableau for building and analyzing dashboards.
  • Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, AWS).
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
  • Domain knowledge in [e.g., Finance, Healthcare, Retail] is a plus.
