Roles and Responsibilities of PURE Storage Administrator.

  • Management and zoning of various SAN fabrics.
  • Provisioning storage across multiple storage systems, including PURE Storage and NetAPP.
  • Capacity planning and forecasting activities.
  • Support for data protection on Windows Server, Linux, and VMware vCenter/ESXi environments.
  • Assistance with operating system, firmware, and code upgrades for supported hardware and software.
  • Support in the management of Enterprise Data Protection platforms, such as Zerto.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving intricate issues related to storage infrastructure.
  • Availability for production and after-hours support is necessary (through an on-call rotation).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Should be flexible working in shifts and it is working from office based.
