Mission and Goal
At Gen, our mission is to create technology solutions for people to make the most of the digital world – safely, privately, and confidently. We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Manager to oversee and manage integration projects with external partners, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and authentication services.

Objectives
In this role, you will become an integral part of our Partner Product Management & Delivery team that is responsible for driving partner growth, expansion, and enhancement. You will be specifically responsible for driving the end-to-end integration process for API and SSO setups with Strategic Partners that deliver Norton and Avast's value-add services to their customers. Your expertise in SSO technologies and cloud environments will be key to facilitating the secure exchange of authentication and authorization data between systems. Working closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Support), you will ensure that all integration efforts are delivered on time with excellent Partner support while maintaining compliance with both parties' security best practices.

Competencies

  • Advisory to Sales Teams: Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal sales teams during pre-sales discussions, helping to scope API and SSO integration requirements and set clear expectations with external partners.
  • Customer-focused: Skilled at managing relationships with external partners and ensuring integrations meet their needs. Provide post-launch support, monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with partners to optimize and improve the integration experience.
  • SSO and Authentication Services Expert: Oversee the setup and integration of third-party Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using protocols such as OpenID Connect, OAuth2, and SAML, ensuring secure and seamless user authentication experiences for partners.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams (sales, product, engineering, customer support) to align integration efforts with business needs and to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Project Management: Manage the project timeline, risks, and deliverables for Partner integrations using tools like JIRA and Confluence, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that all integrations, particularly those involving authentication services, meet security best practices and regulatory standards. Work with partners to establish secure connections and authentication mechanisms.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for API and SSO integration processes using tools like Swagger, SoapUI, and Figma. Ensure clear guidelines for both internal teams and partners.
  • Technology Adoption: Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) to build scalable and secure integration solutions, ensuring best practices in performance, availability, and security are followed.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in integration management, technical project management, or a related role with a focus on API and SSO integrations.
  • Prior experience in the cybersecurity or software service industry and/or large Strategic or other B2B2C partners preferred.
  • SSO Expertise: Deep understanding of Single Sign-On (SSO) protocols (e.g., OpenID Connect, OAuth2, SAML) and experience in implementing and managing third-party SSO integrations for external partners.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with:
  • APIs: SOAP, RESTful APIs, OpenID Connect, OAuth2, SAML
  • Languages & Technologies: XML, Java, Python
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure
  • Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Swagger, SoapUI, AI tools with a focus on automation
  • Security Focus: Experience implementing secure authentication solutions, with knowledge of encryption, token handling, and secure data transmission.
  • Security Certifications: Possession of security and cloud certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) as they relate to user authentication and third-party integrations.
