Senior Public Relations (PR) Expert

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
PR professional with 5+ years of proven expertise
to lead our communications and media strategies. The ideal candidate will bring strong media networks, the ability to craft compelling narratives, and a track record of positioning organizations in the spotlight. You will be responsible for driving
brand visibility, strategic PR campaigns, and high-impact media engagement
for our initiatives in the D
eeptech and startup ecosystem

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute
    PR strategies and communication plans
    aligned with business goals.
  • Write and distribute
    media notes, and bylined articles
    .
  • Secure impactful
    media coverage, interviews, and stories
    across leading business, startup, and technology publications.
  • Lead PR campaigns around
    events, summits, launches, and partnerships
    .
  • Act as a
    spokesperson or media liaison
    when required.
  • Provide
    crisis communication strategies
    and manage sensitive communication effectively.
  • Collaborate with marketing, partnerships, and leadership teams for
    consistent brand messaging
    .
  • Monitor media coverage, prepare reports, and present insights on
    PR performance & ROI
    .

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience
    in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Media Relations.
  • Strong
    media network in Chennai and across India
    (business, startup, and tech press preferred).
  • Proven track record of
    securing national and regional media coverage
    .
  • Excellent
    storytelling, communication, and presentation skills
    .
  • Ability to work independently,
    strategically influence narratives
    , and lead PR campaigns end-to-end.
  • Experience handling
    crisis communication and reputation management
    is a strong plus.
