Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Architect and Design Head specializing in Workspace Interior Design for a full-time role. This senior-level position requires a minimum of 7 to 10 years of work experience, emphasizing workplace design. The role is central to crafting aesthetically pleasing and functional workspaces. Candidates will work from our headquarters in Bangalore, leveraging their experience to lead design projects and engage clients.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven project management skills to oversee complex design initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Strong client engagement capabilities to interpret client needs and transform them into actionable design solutions.
  • Expertise in space planning to create efficient and aesthetically pleasing work environments that maximize utility.
  • Proficient in design presentation, showcasing concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders for maximum impact.
  • Solid foundation in concept development, synthesizing client requirements into innovative design solutions.
  • Workplace design skills (Mandatory skill) for developing and implementing transformative workspace interiors.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate design ideas and engage in collaborative teamwork with diverse teams.
  • Strong leadership skills to mentor junior architects and manage multidisciplinary teams for design execution.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of workspace interior projects from conception through completion, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Develop and present design proposals that align with client objectives, project scope, and budget constraints.
  • Engage with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and refine design concepts based on feedback.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including contractors and suppliers, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee space planning and concept development to deliver innovative solutions that meet functional and aesthetic goals.
  • Mentor and guide junior architects, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous learning within the design team.
  • Monitor trends in workplace design to keep the agency at the forefront of industry innovations and practices.
  • Ensure all projects comply with safety, regulatory, and sustainability standards throughout the design process.
