Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with 57 years of strong expertise in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate should have at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with ETL tools, advanced SQL, and DBT (Data Build Tool) to transform, model, and deliver high-quality data for business and analytics needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and load structured/unstructured data from multiple sources.
  • Build and maintain data models and transformations using DBT to ensure accuracy, reusability, and scalability.
  • Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects for data transformation and validation.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and validation processes to ensure integrity and reliability of datasets.
  • Work with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.) for data integration and transformation.
  • Ensure best practices in data governance, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
  • Troubleshoot ETL performance issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure data pipeline efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5- 7 years of total experience in ETL development and data engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in :
  • ETL tools/processes (designing and developing pipelines).
  • Advanced SQL (query optimization, joins, CTEs, performance tuning).
  • DBT (Data Build Tool) for data modeling and transformation.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, star/snowflake schema, and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, GCP BigQuery, or Azure Synapse).
  • Good knowledge of Python or scripting languages for automation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
  • Experience with data quality frameworks and monitoring solutions.
