Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Administrator to manage and support our Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on Azure Active Directory, Virtual Machines, Security, Backup, and Networking, ensuring a secure, scalable, and reliable cloud environment. The ideal candidate will also enable seamless integration between on-premises and cloud platforms while ensuring compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Infrastructure & VM Management

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure Virtual Machines (Windows/Linux).
  • Monitor VM performance, availability, and optimize costs.
  • Implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies.

Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) Support

  • Manage users, groups, and access controls.
  • Configure Conditional Access, MFA, and SSO.
  • Support hybrid identity with Azure AD Connect.

Azure Security Administration

  • Apply security best practices across Azure resources.
  • Manage RBAC, PIM, and Defender for Cloud alerts.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Azure Backup & Recovery

  • Configure and manage Azure Backup for VMs and workloads.
  • Validate backup policies and test recovery procedures.
  • Implement Azure Site Recovery for business continuity.

Azure Networking & Connectivity

  • Design and manage Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, and NSGs.
  • Configure VPN Gateway and ExpressRoute for hybrid connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues.
  • Implement secure access using Azure Bastion and private endpoints.Role & responsibilities
