Responsibility
- Review electrical drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents for compliance at site.
- Supervise and monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, earthing, UPS, DG sets, fire alarm systems, BMS, etc.
- Ensure adherence to national/international standards, codes, and client requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and issue site instructions / observations.
- Verify material approvals, method statements, and drawings submitted by contractors.
- Monitor contractor's manpower, progress, and quality of work against schedule.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other disciplines to avoid interface conflicts.
- Attend site meetings with contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations at site.
- Maintain proper documentation – daily progress reports, inspection reports, test reports, and quality records.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and provide engineering solutions on site.
- Support in final inspection, snag list preparation, and project handover activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 3–8 years of experience in site supervision/consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems in building/infrastructure projects.
- Familiar with IS, IEC, NFPA, and other relevant codes/standards.
- Proficiency in reviewing drawings and technical documents.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
