The role involves incoming material inspection, in-process quality control, testing & validation, documentation, and continuous improvement of the quality system.Candidates with experience in drone / UAV / aerospace/electronics manufacturing will be given high preference.Key Responsibilities:Conduct incoming quality inspection for motors, ESCs, batteries, GPS modules, autopilots, RF/telemetry devices, harnesses, propellers, and PCB assemblies.Perform functional testing, continuity checks, and parameter validation using standard testing instruments.Execute visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections as per SOPs and established quality standards.Review datasheets and verify components against design and purchase specifications.Validate motor direction, thrust performance, battery IR values, soldering quality, connector fitment, and propeller balancing.Maintain QC documentation, traceability records, inspection reports, and part labeling.Prepare and update inspection checklists, SOPs, and detailed test procedures for drone components.Support development of jigs, fixtures, and harness setups for testing and assembly workflows.Conduct RCA and implement CAPA for failures, deviations, or recurring issues.Maintain calibration logs and ensure all testing instruments are within valid calibration cycles.Collaborate with Design, Integration, Production, and Supply Chain teams to resolve component and assembly issues, and coordinate supplier feedback for quality improvement.Ensure adherence to safety protocols including Li-ion/Li-Po battery handling, ESD protection, and maintaining a safe testing environment.Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong experience in electrical/electronic component testing and inspection.Proficiency in using testing instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, battery analyzers, IR meters, LCR meters, electronic load testers, thrust test stands, crimping tools, wire strippers, and soldering tools.Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, circuit drawings, and component datasheets.Good understanding of BLDC motors, KV ratings, ESC operation, PWM control, RF communication, and related subsystems.Familiarity with quality documentation including IQC, IPQC, and FQC reports, along with experience in MS Excel, QC reporting, checklists, and traceability systems.Preferred experience in UAV/Drone, Aerospace, or Electronics Manufacturing environments, including exposure to battery labs or power system testing.Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Educational qualification: ITI/Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related fields.Other DetailsProbation Period: 6 months from joiningWork Mode: On-site (Bhubaneswar office)Date of Joining: Immediate preferredEmployee Benefits:Competitive salary packageFree health insuranceComplimentary lunch, snacks, and beveragesLetter of Recommendation for outstanding contributorsSupportive, innovation-driven workplace cultureBonV Aero is an equal opportunity employer.
