Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bihar for a Field Officer. The Field Officer will be responsible for daily activities such as identifying potential borrowers and assessing their creditworthiness, facilitating loan applications, and verifying documentation. The role includes building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring timely collection of repayments, and providing customer support related to loan processes. The Field Officer will also coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless loan processing and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

  • Experience in loan processing, credit assessment, and documentation verification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions and relationship building
  • Understanding of local language and cultural context in Bihar for effective communication and service delivery
  • Proficiency in using mobile applications and basic digital tools for loan processing and data management
  • Ability to travel extensively within the designated area
  • Prior experience in the finance or microfinance sector is a plus
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance or related field is advantageous
