Role & responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repairs

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of kitchen equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Attend to breakdowns and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to reduce downtime.
  • Maintain AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and liaise with service providers when required.
  • Facility Upkeep
  • Ensure timely repair of fixtures, furniture, lighting, and signage at outlets.
  • Maintain overall cleanliness and hygiene standards in technical and utility areas.
  • Monitor water, gas, and power supply to avoid interruptions.
  • Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure all equipment and facilities comply with health, safety, and statutory regulations.
  • Maintain records of maintenance checks, safety audits, and vendor visits.
  • Support fire safety and emergency equipment checks (extinguishers, alarms, sprinklers, etc.).
  • Inventory & Cost Control
  • Track and maintain stock of essential maintenance tools, spares, and consumables.
  • Optimize repair costs by ensuring proper use of resources and vendor negotiations.
  • Prepare maintenance budgets and ensure adherence.
  • Vendor & Team Coordination
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and installations.
  • Train outlet teams on basic troubleshooting and equipment handling.
  • Provide technical support during new store openings and renovations.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance, preferably in QSR, hospitality, or retail industry.
  • Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
