Applause is a leader in software testing and digital quality. We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Accessibility Auditor to join our team. As an Accessibility Fresher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products and services are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. You will work closely with Accessibility Experts and SMEs to implement accessibility best practices and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct accessibility audits and evaluations of our digital products (websites, mobile apps, etc.) using manual and automated testing tools.
  • Identify accessibility barriers and provide clear and actionable recommendations for remediation.
  • You will be responsible for identifying issues through accessibility testing and suggesting potential solutions for accessibility barriers based on the WCAG standards as well as compliance with the ADA, Section 508, and other accessibility related laws.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest accessibility guidelines and technologies (WCAG, ARIA, etc.).
  • Advocate for accessibility within the company and promote an inclusive design culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least 75% in academics.
  • Good to have an understanding of accessibility principles and guidelines (WCAG).
  • Good have idea on assistive technologies (screen readers, magnifiers, etc.).
  • Very good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for creating inclusive and accessible user experiences
