Role & responsibilities:

Customization Architecture and Design: You'll be responsible for the architecture and design of partner-specific customization on products, interface design specifications, converting user requirements to implementation design specs, documentation, and maintaining and managing the customization lifecycle. You'll also assess and address technical debt and guide the process of choosing tools and frameworks together with the services implementation community.

Industrialization: You'll be responsible for driving standardization, automation, and increasing reusability assets while building the service catalog and driving serviceability and manageability in collaboration with Technology Teams.

AI powered Automation: You'll be responsible for identifying areas where Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools can be applied in services delivery and improving automation and productivity efficiency through their implementation.

Driving innovation: You'll help shape the direction for innovation by encouraging creative thinking through initiatives like hackathons and team projects, focusing on fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement while driving meaningful progress within the team.

Preferred candidate profile:

Experience & mindset - Ideally, you have 15+ years of experience in architecture or senior technical leadership roles. You have a track record of managing technical debt, driving reuse, and embedding quality in design. You also bring curiosity, humility, and a willingness to continuously learn and evolve.

Proven Technical Expertise: We seek a seasoned architect with strong experience in designing and implementing customization solutions for products. You should have proven expertise in creating technical specifications, system architecture documentation, and translating complex business requirements into scalable technical designs. Experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks. You are familiar with system integration, API management, mobile and web application development, Cloud native development with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar cloud platform.

Automation and AI Knowledge: You should have experience with automation tools and frameworks, coupled with knowledge of AI/ML applications in service delivery. We're looking for someone who can identify automation opportunities, implement AI-powered solutions, and demonstrate measurable improvements in productivity and efficiency.

Delivery experience in product customization - Youve worked in or alongside implementation or services teams, ideally delivering product-attached services or custom partner solutions. Youve dealt with constraints, dependencies, and evolving requirements and know how to design for sustainability.

Global mindset & communication - This is a global role. Youll collaborate with colleagues and partners across Finland, the US, Malaysia, Slovakia, and beyond. Professional fluency in English is essential, and you understand how to adjust your communication across cultures and time zones.

Cross-functional collaboration - You know how to work across organizational boundaries and communicate architectural decisions with clarity. Youve successfully influenced technical direction without always having direct authority and understand how to guide discussions that bring teams together.
