Job Summary

The Senior Architect leads the design and development of complex architectural projects from concept through completion. This role requires a balance of creative design leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills. The Senior Architect will collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver innovative, functional, and sustainable design solutions that meet project goals, budgets, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Leadership:
  • Develop and lead design concepts, presentations, and technical documentation for projects of varying scales.
  • Oversee the preparation of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Ensure design integrity and consistency throughout all project phases.
  • Project Management:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from feasibility and schematic design through construction administration.
  • Coordinate with engineering disciplines, consultants, and contractors to ensure design coordination and quality.
  • Review and approve design deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Lead client meetings and presentations, maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Understand client needs and translate them into functional, aesthetic, and compliant design solutions.
  • Technical & Regulatory Oversight:
  • Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, accessibility standards, and sustainability requirements.
  • Oversee technical detailing, materials selection, and constructability reviews.
  • Mentorship & Leadership:
  • Mentor junior architects, designers, and interns, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented studio environment.
  • Contribute to firm-wide design excellence, innovation, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Registered Architect (RA) [Specify country/state].
  • Experience: 5–8 years of professional architectural experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or project leadership role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and BIM workflows.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, detailing, and building systems.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to balance creative design with practical implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with sustainable design and LEED certification.
  • Background in [specific project types, e.g., commercial, Industrial or institutional projects].
  • Familiarity with integrated project delivery (IPD) or design-build methods.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50, ₹100,000.00 per month
