Frontend Engineer – Real-Time Maritime Systems

About the Role

As a
Frontend Engineer
, you'll design and implement
intuitive dashboards, navigational maps, and real-time visualizations
for a
maritime navigation & situational awareness system
. Your code will directly support naval operators in making split-second, mission-critical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive UI components: dashboards, charts, alert panels, and maps.
  • Integrate
    real-time data streams (WebSockets, WebRTC)
    from GPS, gyro, cameras, and weather sensors.
  • Implement
    geospatial mapping
    for ship positions, routes, and forecast overlays.
  • Build
    interactive animations and transitions
    using Framer Motion or GSAP.
  • Convert
    Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive UI
    .
  • Collaborate with
    backend & AI teams
    for live API integration.
  • Ensure
    performance optimization
    for real-time operations.
  • Maintain clean, scalable code with Git and testing practices.

Must-Have Skills

  • JavaScript (ES6+), ,
  • WebSockets & WebRTC
    for live data/video feeds
  • Tailwind CSS
    for responsive UI
  • Advanced React (Hooks, Context API, rerender optimization)
  • Animation libraries
    : Framer Motion / GSAP
