Job Profile: Office Assistant

The Office Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations. The role involves handling routine office tasks, assisting different departments, and maintaining an organized and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle filing, record-keeping, photocopying, and document management.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and basic data entry.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate with vendors.
  • Support HR/Administration in scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and other tasks.
  • Help in maintaining office cleanliness and basic facility management.
  • Receive and distribute deliveries, couriers, and documents.
  • Provide assistance to senior staff and other departments as needed.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Basic knowledge of office management and administrative processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Time management and problem-solving skills.

Educational & Professional Qualifications

  • Minimum 12th pass / Graduate in any discipline.
  • 0–2 years of experience in office/administrative support roles (freshers can apply).
  • Knowledge of office equipment (printer, scanner, fax, etc.) preferred.
