Job Profile: Office Assistant
The Office Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations. The role involves handling routine office tasks, assisting different departments, and maintaining an organized and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle filing, record-keeping, photocopying, and document management.
- Manage incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and basic data entry.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate with vendors.
- Support HR/Administration in scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and other tasks.
- Help in maintaining office cleanliness and basic facility management.
- Receive and distribute deliveries, couriers, and documents.
- Provide assistance to senior staff and other departments as needed.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of office management and administrative processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Time management and problem-solving skills.
Educational & Professional Qualifications
- Minimum 12th pass / Graduate in any discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in office/administrative support roles (freshers can apply).
- Knowledge of office equipment (printer, scanner, fax, etc.) preferred.
