Position Overview

The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing daily accounting operations of the branch, ensuring accurate financial records, proper cash handling, compliance with company policies, and supporting branch audits. The role requires strong attention to detail, financial discipline, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities1. Daily Accounting & Cash Management

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting entries (cash, bank, journal, ledger).
  • Handle cash receipts, payments, and ensure timely bank deposits.
  • Prepare daily cash book, petty cash statements, and reconcile balances.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.

2. Loan Transaction Management

  • Record gold loan disbursements, interest collections, part-payments, and closures.
  • Ensure accurate entry of charges, interest, and penalties as per policy.
  • Update customer accounts without errors.

3. Compliance & Audit Support

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Prepare documents and reports required for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain proper records for compliance checks (KYC, vouchers, approvals).

4. Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
  • Share branch MIS, outstanding reports, and revenue reports with HO.
  • Support management with data during reviews and meetings.

5. Branch Support Activities

  • Assist Branch Manager in day-to-day operations.
  • Coordinate with HO Accounts team for clarifications.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of asset registers and inventory.

Key Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
  • Good proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Time management and documentation skills.
  • Basic understanding of gold loan process (added advantage).

Qualifications

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or related field.
  • 1–3 years accounting experience (Fresher with strong accounts knowledge can also apply).
  • Experience in NBFC / financial sector preferred.

  • Karur Gold Finance – Branch Level

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10, ₹20,000.00 per month
