Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Designer cum Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in interior / furniture design and managerial skills to oversee daily operations of the showroom. This role is ideal for someone who can blend creativity with business acumen to deliver both aesthetic excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand client requirements and provide creative design solutions using showroom products.

  • Create layout plans, mood boards, and 3D visualizations (if needed).

  • Guide customers in selecting furniture pieces that match their space and style.

  • Supervise the showrooms day to day activities, including staff, displays, and cleanliness.

  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and delivery teams for smooth operations.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.

  • Maintain inventory records, order stock as required.

  • Monitor sales targets and suggest strategies for improvement.

  • Train and manage showroom staff to maintain high standards of performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design / Furniture Design / related field.

  • 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in a furniture showroom or interior design firm.

  • Strong aesthetic sense and practical knowledge of furniture materials and layout planning

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop) is a plus.

  • Customer focused mindset with a problem solving approach.
