Job Title: Technical Lead

Schedule- day shift

Location- Remote

Position Overview-

We're seeking a seasoned Tech Lead to architect and steer our educational technology offerings. This role involves driving technical innovation, managing IT operations, and mentoring a growing team of IT executives and interns to scale Sapthora's platform effectively and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities-

  • Develop and oversee the architecture of Sapthora's tech stack—ranging from content delivery systems, user management, to recording and scheduling features.
  • Drive enhancements in platform usability, scalability, and reliability to support our expanding learner base.
  • Mentor, lead, and collaborate with IT executives and interns, ensuring clarity in roles and alignment with company goals.
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding for tech talent, including crafting development plans for interns.
  • Enforce best practices in secure infrastructure, system monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery.
  • Liaise with educational and support teams—such as content creators and tech support—to ensure smooth technical operations.
  • Prioritize projects and align technical deliverables with strategic objectives.
  • Stay at the forefront of edtech innovations, integrating new tools, frameworks, or platforms to elevate Sapthora's offerings.

Qualifications-

Essential:

  • 3+ years in a full-stack or platform engineering role, at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong foundation in front-end and back-end technologies (e.g., React, , Python/Django).
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure (JAVA, AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor teams and foster technical growth.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to collaborate across engineering, support, and program teams.

Desirable:

  • Experience building scalable platforms in the education or e-learning sectors.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), content streaming, or virtual classroom technologies.
  • Background in mentoring interns and growing junior talent.
