The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust applications and automation solutions. Experience withFront-End DV CAD toolsis a plus but not mandatory.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize Python-based applications, flows, and frameworks.Implement best practices across all phases of SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architecture, design, DV, and IT) to deliver scalable solutions.Develop scripts and automation flows to improve productivity and efficiency.Ensure code quality through reviews, unit tests, and integration tests.Maintain documentation for methodologies, workflows, and tools.Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.5+ years of professional experience in Python development.Strong knowledge of SDLC processes and Agile methodologies.Proficiency in:Python programming and object-oriented principlesFrameworks: Django, Flask, or FastAPIData handling: Pandas, NumPyRESTful API design and implementationVersion control: Git/GitHub/GitLab/PerforceTesting tools: pytest or similarCI/CD pipelines: Airflow, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CDExperience with Linux environments and shell scripting.Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Nice-to-Have SkillsExposure to Front-End DV CAD tools (e.g., Xcelium, VCS, vManager, Indago, Verdi).Familiarity with big-data platforms or analytics tools (e.g., Splunk).Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.Exposure to machine learning frameworks.Strong grasp of performance optimization and profiling techniques.Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
