Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Python & Data Engineering professional to support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Investment Risk initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with quantitative teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to design, build, and maintain risk analytics platforms and data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform requirements gathering, technical design, and solutioning

• Design and support technical architecture for ERM initiatives

• Build and enhance risk model development platforms

• Develop and optimize solutions using Python and SQL

• Design and maintain ETL pipelines and data repositories

• Collaborate with quant teams, business users, and SMEs

• Develop, test, deploy, and migrate solutions across environments

• Document solutions and support knowledge transfer

• Adhere to enterprise SDLC processes and governance standards

Mandatory Skills

• 7+ years of Python & SQL development in production environments

• Strong experience in Data Engineering & ETL concepts

• Hands-on with Pandas, NumPy, PySpark

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL)

• Knowledge of investment data / financial instruments (bonds, derivatives)

• Exposure to risk analytics or quantitative modeling platforms

• Strong understanding of data pipelines, APIs & integration

Good to Have

• Experience with Moodys Analytics / RiskFrontier or similar platforms

• Exposure to Market Risk / Credit Risk systems

• CI/CD, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker

• Cloud experience – AWS / Azure

• Orchestration tools – Apache Airflow / Workload Automation
