Job Title: Systems Administrator (L2)

Location: Remote

Working Hours: UK Business Hours

Experience: Entry to Mid-Level, prior experience with UK clients preferred

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Systems Administrator (L2) to manage, maintain, and support the IT infrastructure of UK-based clients. You will be responsible for ensuring system reliability, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and supporting end-users while working remotely across UK business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers (Windows/Linux) and networking equipment.
  • Monitor system performance, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot escalated issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory or similar systems.
  • Implement security patches, software updates, and system hardening procedures.
  • Ensure regular backups and assist in disaster recovery planning/testing.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, developers, and external vendors on deployments and upgrades.
  • Maintain documentation, logs, and reports on system performance and incidents.
  • Support end-users remotely, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar IT support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, or cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
  • Networking knowledge: DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and TCP/IP.
  • Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
  • Experience using IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Pay: From ₹80,000.00 per month
